Red Alert: The Fight Against Fibroids is more than a film. It is a step toward a movement that will bring consciousness to medical issues affecting millions of women throughout the world.  We hope to build an initiative and 501(c)3 foundation that will last well beyond film production. To help accomplish this goal, we plan to host a benefit concert with special invited guests, influencer

hosts and relevant celebrity performances that speak directly to the hearts of the women we serve.  Proceeds from the ticket

sales and donations will be given to specific organizations and toward an emergency fund for women in need of medical care as associated with fibroids and endometriosis.

This effort was inspired when we discovered that many research organizations (such as Compare-UF) that specialize in finding a cause and treatment for fibroid tumors are in danger of losing funding.

The Red Alert Movie Revolution Concert will hold an event that will:

  • honor those women who have told their story in Red Alert: The Fight Against Fibroids,

  • honor and address women who have recently been diagnosed with fibroids and endometriosis,

  • raise money for the Red Alert Foundation,

  • honor the women who have suffered infertility and miscarriage(s) from the diseases,

  • bring massive awareness to the reproductive needs of African-American women who suffer the most,

  • raise funds for the organizations dedicated to research and results as it pertains to fibroids and endometriosis; chosen organizations will be awarded funds from the fundraising efforts of the Red Alert team on stage,

  • give an opportunity for celebrity guests to be involved in the fight against fibroids

Beyond developing an impactful and informative documentary project, we will carry the message of awareness forward by developing the S.I.S. (suffering in silence) Foundation, a 501(c)3 designed to support fundraising for research, treatments and the study of uterine fibroid tumors and endometriosis as well as donations to support women who are in desperate need of healthcare as it relates to their fibroids and cannot afford treatment or costs related to symptoms of fibroids and endometriosis.

We will work to develop the foundation in 2021.
